05/25/2023 | "김치의 날" 행사 마우이한인회와 협의 Planning for "Kimchi Day" Celebrations with Hawaii Maui Korean Association | 주의회가 2023년 11월22일을 "김치의 날"로 지정하는데 중추적인 역활을 한 하와이 마우이 한인회 유선희 회장과 최은진 (전)회장은 한인회관을 방문해 서대영 하와이 한인회 회장및 남영돈 이사장과 담화를 갖고 김치의 날 축제에 관해 협의 하였습니다. 2023년 11월 18일 (토) 에는 마우이에서 김치의 날 축제를, 2023년 11월 4일 (혹은 11일) 에는 오아후에서 김치의 날 축제를 여는것에 협조하기로 하였습니다. Kelly You, the current president of Hawaii Maui Korean Associations, and Jinni Choi, the past president, visited the Cultural Community Center and discussed the Kimchi Day celebrations with TUKAH president David Suh and board chair Young Don Nam. Maui will hold the Kimchi Day in Hawaii celebration on 11/18/2023. The Kimchi Day Celebration on Oahu will be on 11/4/2023 or 11/11/2023. | |

05/26/2023 | 한인회관 사용계약 연장 Makiki Building Agreement Extended | 마키키공원내 한인회관 건물사용 계약이 2026년 12월 31일 연장 되었습니다. 시공원국과의 건물사용 계약은 관행상 2년 단위로 무기한 갱신됩니다. 이번 계약 연장에 관해 로라 틸렌 공원국장은 하와이 한인회는 공원을 활성화하는 데 큰 도움이 되고 있고 마키키지역 주민들에게 레크리에이션/문화 기회를 제공하는 훌륭한 파트너임으로 앞으로도 계속 계약을 연장하는 데 문제가 없을 것으로 보인다고 했습니다. |
