Located at the heart of the beautiful, vibrant and diverse metro Honolulu, the Cultural Community Center by TUKAH (“Center”) at the Makiki District Park is a collaborative endeavor between TUKAH and the City and County of Honolulu, creating a hub of community activities and Asia-Pacific cultural preservation.  The Center serves as a gathering place where individuals from all backgrounds can come together to engage in meaningful cultural exchanges, foster understanding, and promote unity. The Center boasts a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere, featuring versatile spaces that can accommodate a wide range of activities, including exhibitions, performances, workshops, classes, and community events. The Center offers a diverse array of programs and activities in conjunction with the programs administered by the City's Department of Parks and Recreation, including language classes, traditional music and dance activities, cultural festivals, culinary events, and historical exhibitions.  Additionally, the Center provides resources and support to local artists, performers, and cultural organizations, encouraging their growth and fostering creativity. TUKAH envisions the Center serving as a dynamic space that facilitates cross-cultural dialogue, promotes inclusivity, and nurtures a sense of belonging, for many years to come.
